The UW Center for Rare Diseases will provide comprehensive medical genetics and multispecialty services as well as state-of-the-art diagnostics and clinical trials for a broad spectrum of rare disease patients in Wisconsin, Northern Illinois and the rest of the country.
As part of the National Organization for Rare Disorders (NORD) Rare Disease Center of Excellence program, we will strive to push the rare disease field forward by collaborating to develop new care guidelines, improve medical and family education, create safe and effective referral pathways, and innovate around new treatments, therapies, and research.
